House signs are equipped with a concealed mounting system ( shown below ).

                       

 With the concealed mounting method you drill a hole in the cement, brick or wood slightly larger in diameter than the supplied mounting stud. Fill hole with an epoxy adhesive and set stud mounted on your sign in the adhesive filled hole.
